The lore / File no. BTK—001

GOLD WAS
ON THE MENU.

Every empire has a basement.
This one forgot to lock the kitchen.

A story in three unfortunate courses ↓
BTC Killer inside a ruined underground vault
01

The first course

THE LAST
ORDER.

Above ground, the city talked about scarcity. In marble rooms, people called the golden coin immortal. Below ground, behind an unmarked steel door, a forgotten kitchen kept its grill on.

One sandwich stayed behind after closing. The sauce thickened. The bread hardened. Somewhere between the third power cut and the fifth market sermon, it opened its eyes.

“I've heard enough
about the gold.”
The character awakening on a counter in a secret kitchen
Scene 001 / The kitchen was never inspected.
02

The main course

NO KNIFE.
NO FORK.

It found a pair of red high-tops in lost property. It laced them badly. Then it followed the sound of people taking themselves very seriously.

At the end of the corridor stood a vault. Inside: rows of perfect gold coins. Untouched. Untouchable. The sandwich cracked its knuckles. A pickle slid half an inch to the left.

The first coin broke with a noise that sounded suspiciously like a dinner bell.

Scene 002 / Reinforced steel. Unreinforced confidence.
03

The aftertaste

A VERY
MESSY
LEGEND.

By morning, the vault was open. The floor was covered in crumbs, gold, and a sauce nobody could identify. On the security feed: one sandwich, two sneakers, and a grin nobody had approved.

The internet did what the internet does. It gave the menace a name. Then it made the name louder.

BTC KILLER is the joke that kicked the door in. $BTCKILLER is the name on the case file. What happens next belongs to the people still laughing in the hallway.

The sandwich on its chaotic throne
Scene 003 / The throne was technically a health hazard.

EVERYTHING
IS EDIBLE.
EVEN THE MYTH.

The table is getting louder

PULL UP.
BRING SAUCE.

The internet made a sandwich angry. Now it gets to decide what happens next.
